Boosters of the PLHS golf teams are preparing to tee up for the group’s second annual fundraiser.
\nA golf tournament and barbecue buffet dinner are planned for Oct. 3, with registration at 2 p.m., a shotgun start at 3 p.m. and dinner beginning at 5:30 p.m. Site of the tournament is the Loma Club Golf Course, formerly Sail Ho, a 9-hole venue.
\nLocal golfers are invited to join the fun, which will include golf professionals Chris and Michelle Riley as special guests.
\nThe family-friendly event is for golfers of all levels and funds raised will benefit the Pointer men’s and women’s golf teams.
\nGolf and dinner are priced at $60 or $35 each if purchased separately. Registration forms and raffle tickets are online at www.pointlomahighgolf.com. Players may register as a pair.
