Residents were awakened by the explosion at around 1 a.m. at 4975 Del Monte Ave. Some ventured outside on their own, while others were led out by San Diego police. &#8220;Everyone got evacuated,&#8221;resident Mark Olsen told a local television outlet, &#8220;but I came out here first to check out what was going on. So I came out, and now I can&#8217;t get back in.&#8221; San Diego Fire-Rescue crews used a chainsaw to cut away debris and to ensure the wall wasn\u2019t on fire. No one was hurt.
