This really hits home.\u00a0 I, myself, was in this same situation about a year ago.\u00a0 I was trying to find a place to rent in Ocean Beach with about the mellowest dog alive.\u00a0 She never barked, has never once chewed up anything or gone to the bathroom [where she was not supposed to].\u00a0 Well, to make things short, I had to settle for moving to North Park.\u00a0 Literally, 90 to 95 percent of places I looked at [rentals in Ocean Beach] said, &#8220;NO DOGS!!!!!!!!!&#8221;\u00a0 I just wanted to let you know that I loved this guest commentary and honestly feel the same pain.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I just read the piece on &#8220;OB: Is it the world&#8217;s friendliest dog town?&#8221; (guest commentary, Jan. 27 Beacon, Page 6) and wow!
