But you forgot one significant detail. Bennie led us to the 1991 3A CIF Football Championship, in addition to his three previous titles. <br \/>Your paper covered the event as we beat Vista 14-0 on Dec. 14, 1991. We ended our season with a 13-1 record and won the Eastern League title as well. This was Point Loma&#8217;s last CIF football title. Hence, it was and is most important to Bennie and the entire Point Loma community.
