Purchasers can engrave a personal message that will become part of the park&#8217;s history.<br \/>Prices for the tiles vary depending on the size. <br \/>&#8220;\u00a2 12 inch by 12 inch &#8211; $500 <br \/>&#8220;\u00a2 12 inch by 6 inch &#8220;&#8221; $275 <br \/>&#8220;\u00a2 6 inch by 6 inch &#8220;&#8221; $150<br \/>The Friends of Kate Sessions Park meets the third Tuesday of the month at the Soledad Club, 5050 Soledad Road, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. For information call Mary Watson at (858) 274-3168.<\/p>\n<p>Police looking for Isuzu SUV used in hit-and-run <br \/>Police are asking for the public&#8217;s help in identifying a man wanted in connection with a hit-and-run in the early morning hours Tuesday, April 1, on the 1300 block of Garnet Avenue.<br \/>Reports originally described the vehicle as a silver Jeep Grand Cherokee, but has been revised and is now believed to be a newer silver Isuzu SUV. The suspect vehicle will have front-end damage.<br \/>Monica Mun\u00c3\u00b5z, media services manager with the San Diego Police Department, said the men, Salvatore Defranco, 21, and Damon Seamons, 24, were having a verbal disagreement while in the street when they were struck by the vehicle. Defranco suffered serious head injuries and Seamons sustained minor cuts and scrapes.<br \/>Crime Stoppers is offering up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477. Callers can remain anonymous.<\/p>\n<p>PB Historical Society meets Saturday <br \/>The Pacific Beach Historical Society is hosting a presentation, &#8220;Pacific Beach &#8221; In The Beginning,&#8221; at its meeting Saturday, April 19, at the Earl &#038; Birdie Taylor Library, 4275 Cass St., at 1 p.m.<br \/>The meeting is free and open to the public.<br \/>For information call John Fry at (858) 272-6655.<\/p>\n<p>Man stabs roommate with samurai sword <br \/>Police arrested a man for stabbing his roommate in the chest with a samurai sword during a fight at their residence in the 1000 block of Law Street.<br \/>According to police reports, the victim suffered a non-life-threatening wound in the upper right side of his chest and was transported to a hospital for treatment. The suspect was arrested at the scene. Both men are in their 20s.<\/p>\n<p>Woman displays gun, robs 7-Eleven <br \/>A woman entered the 7-Eleven located at 4527 Mission Bay Drive, lifted her jacket to display a handgun and demanded cash. The suspect was described as a 30-year-old white female wearing a black beanie with gray stripes and a black jacket with gray stripes.<br \/>She fled on foot with an undetermined amount of money.<\/p>\n<p>Coastlands Church features &#8216;Legends of Surfing&#8217; <br \/>To celebrate its move from Pacific Beach Elementary to Bayview Terrace Elementary, Coastland Church is inviting the community to join its members for a &#8220;Legends of Surfing&#8221; presentation Sunday, April 20, and an upcoming community service project. Services begin at 9:30 a.m.<br \/>The &#8220;Legends of Surfing&#8221; will feature Skip Frye, Larry Gordon and Matt Beachum.<br \/>&#8220;So we have two of the older guys representing the older generation,&#8221; said Coastlands Pastor Evan Lauer. &#8220;Matt, he&#8217;s a young professional, and Larry and Skip are legends. They&#8217;re going to be talking about their surf careers and surf history and also their relationship with God and how the two have gone together.&#8221;<br \/>The community service project is scheduled for Sunday, April 27.
