Armed thieves rob Point Loma pot dispensary<\/b> Police robbery detectives are probing the armed robbery of The Storefront Dispensary marijuana store on Voltaire Street on May 27. Investigators said two men entered the dispensary shortly after 11 a.m. and pointed two handguns at the employees. They fled with an undetermined amount of cash and marijuana and were last seen getting into an older, white two-door Nissan. One of the suspects was described as a Hispanic man in his mid-20s, wearing a black hooded jacket. The second suspect was described as a black man, also in his mid-20s, about 6 feet1 inch tall with a medium build. He was last seeen wearing a gray hooded jacket and jeans. No injuries were reported. 5K walk for Boston bombing victims is June 1<\/b> Greg Sterner, owner of Fitness Together-Point Loma is organizing a 5K charity walk at NTC Park at Liberty Station on Saturday, June 1 to benefit the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings in April. Sterner and his wife, Kara, first met in Boston while attending college \u2014 one at Northeastern University, the other at Bentley College. The couple said they still have many friends in the greater Boston area and that they hold the city and its residents near and dear to their hearts. The goal of the charity walk is to raise at least $500 for medical costs and other expenses for the bombing victims.\u00a0 They said all donations will be distributed to One Fund Boston, Inc. The participants will be asked to donate a minimum of $20. The event will be held at 8 a.m. Participants will gather at the Fitness Together-Point Loma studio at Liberty Station, located at 2750 Dewey Road, #101. From there, participants will walk through NTC Park and Liberty Station. Walkers should bring their donations by check, wear comfortable shoes and bring the children and\/or their dogs.
