Guest have the freedom to explore, wander and enjoy the growing cultural campus.<br \/>\n&#8211; San Diego Dance Theater will present a preview of Live Arts Fest 2015: &#8220;Modern Master and Movements,&#8221; a chronological series of 10 nights that follow the development of modern dance in America. Performances at 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. in Building 175, Studio 106. &#8211; Malashock Dance will present excepts from &#8220;Snakeskin,&#8221; an original dance drama, inspired by the plays and characters of Tennessee Williams. Created by composer Krishan Oberoi (director of &#8220;Sacra\/Profana&#8221;) and artistic director John Malashock. Performances are 6 p.m. and 7 p.m., Building 175, Studio 200.<br \/>\n&#8211; California Ballet School&#8217;s Advanced Tap class will be showcased in an open rehearsal for their upcoming concert. Take a peek at some of the student performers in Building 176, Studio 103.<br \/>\n&#8211; The Swift Gallery&#8217;s March opening will be &#8220;On the Street Where You Live: Paintings from Bay Park.&#8221; New original works on canvas by award-winning painter Ellen Dieter. &#8211; San Diego Watercolor Society &#8220;Art Takes Root&#8221; will open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through April 25. The first Friday event is from 5 to 8 p.m. April 3 at Liberty Station. The juror that month is Rise Parberry.<br \/>\n&#8211; Visions Art Museum: Contemporary Quilts + Textiles has three different exhibits:<br \/>\n\u2022Expressions in Equality, Celebrating our diverse world;<br \/>\n\u2022Inspired by the Siddis: Quilts by Margaret Fabrizio; and \u2022Faces Visions Members\u2019 Challenge. Barracks 19<br \/>\n&#8211; M Fischbeck Studio Gallery &#8211; Original oil paintings by Peggy Fischbeck. Florals by Pam Robinson. Community Art: &#8220;On the Mission Trail.&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8211; Bravo School of Art presents &#8220;Our Lives are Woven Through it.&#8221; A premier exhibition of student\u2019s weaving explorations. Telling stories, expressing emotion or just for play, these simple tactile pieces reflect varied lives. &#8211; Lovejoy Creations presents &#8220;Paint your Pet.&#8221; A class for all ages, even if you have never painted before, you will impress yourself with your final artwork. You are provided with an 11-inch by 14-inch canvas, with your pet &#8220;predrawn,&#8221; and supplies and step-by-step instruction from Lovejoy. Barracks 17 and plaza<br \/>\n&#8211; The Patricia Rincon Dance Collective will be showing excerpts from up-and-coming choreographer and associate director Natalia Valerdi\u2019s &#8220;Mara\u2019s Daughters&#8221; plus choreography by associate director Patricia Rincon\u2019s &#8220;Myth Project: Altar&#8221; from the La Jolla Playhouse Without Walls Festival.<br \/>\n&#8211; Studio C &#8211; Meet artist Carlos Castrejon. Barracks 16<br \/>\n&#8211; Inspirations Gallery and San Diego Writers, Ink is hosting a BYOD (bring your own dog) in honor of their pets on parade themed art show.
