{"id":295001,"date":"2015-05-07T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-05-07T07:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sdnews.com\/paws-in-the-park-in-point-loma-raises-funds-for-san-diego-humane-society\/"},"modified":"2015-05-07T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2015-05-07T07:00:00","slug":"paws-in-the-park-in-point-loma-raises-funds-for-san-diego-humane-society","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/test.sdnews.com\/es\/paws-in-the-park-in-point-loma-raises-funds-for-san-diego-humane-society\/","title":{"rendered":"Paws in the Park in Point Loma raises funds for San Diego Humane Society"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>More than 5,000 animal lovers and 2,000 of their four-legged friends will gather together to take part in San Diego Humane Society\u2019s Walk for Animals: Paws in the Park on Saturday, May 9 in NTC Park at Liberty Station, 2455 Cushing Road, Point Loma.<br \/>\n&#8220;Walking celebrates our love for animals while raising the vital funds needed to ensure that every homeless animal can find a loving home,&#8221; said Kelli Schry of San Diego Humane Society, noting the event\u2019s morning festivities &#8220;include a delicious pancake breakfast, a scenic two-mile walk, fun-filled doggie activities, an \u2018Ask a Trainer\u2019 booth and Vendor Village.&#8221;<br \/>\nThere will be hundreds of dogs and people dressed in costumes and walking to support homeless pets, as well as doggie games and activities.<br \/>\nThe day will begin with onsite registration, a complimentary pancake breakfast and Vendor Village activities.
