Belmont Park, Mission Beach\u2019s iconic beachfront amusement park, returns with its eighth annual Beachside Fall Fest for guests of all ages in October and November. The magic of the season will transform the 94-year-old seaside park into a festive fall experience with shades of autumn leaves, hay bales, and freshly harvested pumpkins; plus, free activities like trick-or-treating, live entertainment, kids activities and more.
\nFormerly known as BOOmont Park, Beachside Fall Fest will offer guests many of the same experiences through November such as\u00a0festive-themed rides and attractions\u00a0like the Giant Dipper, Tiki Town Mini Golf and Laser Tag; plus, the new fall\u00a0Hay Maze. Seasonal in-park treats and savings on unlimited fun and food like\u00a0Kids Free October\u00a0deals will also be offered.\u00a0\u00a0
\nFriday through Sunday in October\u00a0from 5 p.m. to close, plus Thursday, Oct. 31, guests will be able to participate in activities like\u00a0free trick-or-treating\u00a0starting at 6:30 p.m. (while supplies last) with\u00a0thousands of treats\u00a0distributed throughout in-park locations. On\u00a0Saturdays in October\u00a0at 5:30 p.m. (sign-ups start at 5 p.m.), guests in the park can showcase their spirited creativity at two\u00a0free Costume Contests.\u00a0This year, guests will have a chance to win big prizes in the\u00a0Open Costume Contest\u00a0as well as the new\u00a0Themed Category Costume Contest\u00a0with weekly dress-up themes. Other activities include a\u00a0Hay Maze, encounters with roaming characters and the\u00a0Draft Halloween Bash\u00a0(21+) on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. with a $500 cash prize for the costume contest winner.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0
\nIn\u00a0November, Belmont Park will participate in the season of giving by offering special promotions for community organizations and groups in San Diego like first responders, military veterans and more. The\u00a0Hay Maze,\u00a0as well as\u00a0festive-themed rides and attractions,\u00a0will continue until Nov. 30. Other happenings will include free activities and live entertainment from park to boardwalk.
