Nikki Newell and Regina von Koch allowed Point Loma to avoid being swept in doubles with an 8-2 win at No. 1s.<br \/>\nThings looked to be turning in Point Loma&#8217;s favor when singles began as Michelle Torres won her third straight match at the PacWest Championships by taking down Caitlyn Uzzi 6-1 and 6-2. The match would end shortly after as Concordia won in two sets on courts 2, 4 and 5 to seal the match.<br \/>\nThat wraps up the season for Point Loma.
