Last week I was in La Jolla three times: I did “Person on the Street” interviews about sea lions and the odor at the Cove, and also asked visitors about their best Valentine\u2019s Day memories; Thursday I went to see a new TV series at the AMC Theater, and Friday I met a Finnish man, Bert Salonen, at The White Sands (I will tell about him in my next blog post, a fascinating 86-year-old gentleman!). I have had a lovely time in La Jolla! I circled around the street and found lovely boutiques, art galleries and restaurants. I ate at Jose\u2019s and my bean salad was delicious. It was served in an edible tortilla cup, which I think is an awesome idea. La Jolla is beautiful place for families, tourists and people who enjoy the clean and peaceful environment. It is also perfect for shopping: I wanted to get the new lipgloss, shoes and shirts from the shops, but unfortunately I was in a hurry. Next time I will have multiple hours to check out all the stores. Somehow La Jolla reminded me of my trip to France, where you can pop into a cafe, see beautiful buildings and meet happy people on the streets. See you again soon!
