\u2019Tis the season for giving, and Woodstock\u2019s Pizza\u00a0is stepping up to the plate. Passionate about giving back to the community they call home, Woodstock\u2019s is on track to raise more than $200,000 in 2018 for worthy charities around San Diego. This December, Woodstock\u2019s is celebrating the spirit of the holidays and benefitting with a month-long fundraiser and one-day\u00a0toy drive\u00a0event benefitting\u00a0Rady\u2019s Children\u2019s Hospital.
\nFrom 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 14, Woodstock\u2019s Pizza, at 1221 Garnet Ave., will be accepting toy donations at their in-store “gift tree” to be given to Rady\u2019s Children\u2019s patients and the Ronald McDonald House, where many Rady\u2019s patient\u2019s siblings stay. While the greatest need is for new infant and toddler toys, the items must be able to be sterilized for sick children. Check the Rady\u2019s Foundation Donation page for a list of\u00a0do\u2019s and don\u2019ts\u00a0for gifts. Christmas items for older children will also be accepted, and wrapping is not necessary. With a toy donation and purchase of any item at Woodstock\u2019s, customers will receive a\u00a0free regular Cinnabread\u00a0dessert pizza as a sweet treat. Complete with live music and a Holiday Lane on Garnet Avenue, the Rady\u2019s Children\u2019s Toy Drive at Woodstock\u2019s Pizza Pacific Beach is not to be missed. The giving doesn\u2019t stop there \u2013 as a food sponsor for Rady\u2019s Children\u2019s Hospital throughout December, both the Pacific Beach and SDSU Woodstock\u2019s locations will be selling $1 paper pizza slices to raise funds for the Rady\u2019s Miracle Light program.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
