The 15th annual Point Loma Garden Walk will take place 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 23 in the Plumosa Park area of Point Loma. This year\u2019s walk walk will feature 11 gardens and should take about 3 to 4 hours to complete. Attendees will have a chance to see every kind of garden from the practical to the inspirational. People will be witnessing a mini home and garden show where garden walkers will see a landscape influenced by three generations of gardeners.
\nThe homes and gardens are an example of custom woodwork, metal and glass work and art collections. In a nod to water restrictions, choices in drought tolerant front yards will be on display. A new variety of drought tolerant grass is growing in one backyard and another gardener has a drought tolerant rose that grows happily with its succulent neighbors. \u00a0
\nDana Unit of Rady Children\u2019s Hospital Auxiliary volunteers arrange the tour. Proceeds from the tour benefit Craniofacial Programs at Rady Children\u2019s Hospital-San Diego.
