Two handsome housemates are up for grabs at the County\u2019s animal care facility in Carlsbad. You can get just one or take them both \u2013 they\u2019re your typical cats in that they don\u2019t seem to mind one way or another!
\nPip is a 4-year-old black and white long hair cat and his former owner says this guy is super affectionate. He likes to roll over and get belly rubs.\u00a0He\u2019s also intensely curious and an empty box will fascinate him for hours.
\nCalico is another long-haired cat and he\u2019s 5 years old. He\u2019s named for Calico Ghost Town in San Bernardino because that\u2019s where he was found. He can be a little standoffish at first but once he knows you he\u2019s all in. He\u2019ll even lie on your chest while you sleep.
\nIf you\u2019d like to meet Pip and Calico, stop by our animal care facility in Carlsbad anytime between 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. You\u2019ll find us at 2481 Palomar Airport Road.
\nIf you come before Thursday, you can even name your own price. Animal Services has a special on adoption fees for all dogs and cats the rest of the month. Whatever price you name will include vaccinations plus a free veterinary exam within the first 10 days.
