Go Green 4 Education makes donation to PB elementary schools<\/b> Pacific Beach-based Go Green 4 Education had an exciting week recently as members of the organization delivered their first donation to all four elementary schools in PB. \u00a0Pacific Beach Elementary, Bayview Terrace Elementary, Crown Point Junior Music Academy and Kate Sessions Elementary received a total of $1,000, representing $250 each, to help offset ongoing budget cuts to basic programs like music, art and library. Money will also be used to offset increased class sizes and a lack of supplies and staff.\u00a0\u00a0 The checks were delivered to the respective principals and PTO\/PTA presidents. The funds donated by Go Green 4 Education will be used as determined by each school campus.\u00a0Organizers said all of the Mission Bay Cluster Schools, including Pacific Beach Middle and Mission Bay High, have been supportive of the new recycling program in Pacific Beach, deem-ed the “No-Brainer Fundraiser.” The more Pacific Beach residents sign up with the Go Green 4 Education program, the bigger the return to community elementary schools.\u00a0 Residents can sign up to have Go Green 4 Education pick up their recycling weekly at www.gogreen4education.org.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
