LJCD booters see action in Parker Tourney The La Jolla Country Day (LJCD) School boys soccer team saw action last weekend in the Francis Parker Tournament, losing 2-1 to Holtville (penalty kicks). Dennis Roth scored LJCD\u2019s lone goal (assisted by Alex Fleischhacker), while in the penalty kick shoot-out, Fleischhacker, Dillon DuBois and Lee Klitzner converted. In the evening\u2019s third-place contest against Francis Parker, LJCD dropped a 1-0 decision. On the positive side, the Torreys continue to play stingy defense in giving up only .8 goals per game (goalie Michael Bailey). LJCD will host tennis camp Dec. 28-31 La Jolla Country Day (LJCD) School will host a winter tennis camp Dec. 28-31 from 9 a.m. to noon at the school\u2019s new tennis facility. The camp is under the direction of longtime LJCD head boys tennis coach Angela Horacek. Former Bishop\u2019s School head coach Jose Ruelas has joined Horacek\u2019s staff and is involved with all of the school\u2019s tennis programs, helping LJCD head girls tennis coach Joslynn Burkett this past season.
