La fianza se fij\u00f3 en $2 millones el jueves para un vagabundo acusado de matar a un hombre de 37 a\u00f1os con un mazo cerca de una parada de autob\u00fas en Midway Drive.
\nGreg Jennings, de 50 a\u00f1os, se declar\u00f3 inocente de asesinato cuando compareci\u00f3 ante la jueza del Tribunal Superior de San Diego, Maureen Hallahan.
\nEl fiscal de distrito adjunto Michael Reilly dijo que la v\u00edctima de 37 a\u00f1os no est\u00e1 siendo identificada luego del asesinato del lunes ya que su familia a\u00fan no ha sido notificada.
\nDijo que no sab\u00eda si Jennings conoc\u00eda a la v\u00edctima, pero hab\u00edan estado discutiendo alrededor de las 6:20 p. m. cerca de una parada de autob\u00fas en Midway Drive, cerca de West Point Loma Boulevard. Reilly dijo que no sab\u00eda de qu\u00e9 se trataba la discusi\u00f3n.
\nReilly le dijo al juez que el mazo era peque\u00f1o, pesaba 64 onzas, y Jennings \u201clo golpe\u00f3 varias veces\u201d. Cuando la v\u00edctima se derrumb\u00f3, Jennings se sent\u00f3 a horcajadas sobre el hombre y lo golpe\u00f3 de nuevo, \u201clo que provoc\u00f3 su muerte\u201d.
