However, it may come as a surprise that, in addition to the usual subjects like top-tier emulation acts like Elvis, The Beatles and Led Zeppelin, the trend is now encompassing lesser-known but equally-worthy performers. Such is the case with Badd Co., a tribute to seventies rockers Bad Company. The band performs at Tio Leo\u2019s on July 8. Their namesake band\u2019s heyday was roughly 1974-79, with a handful of chart hits like &#8220;Can\u2019t Get Enough of Your Love&#8221; and &#8220;Feel Like Makin\u2019 Love,&#8221; but Badd Co. also fills its set list with FM radio staples like &#8220;Good Lovin\u2019 Gone Bad&#8221; and &#8220;Burning Sky,&#8221; making the band a firm fan favorite. Badd Co. strives for accuracy in its renditions, but still leaves things loose enough to have a little fun, capturing both the spirit and the sound of their heroes. <b>Badd Co<\/b> performs at 9 p.m. on Friday, July 8 at Tio Leo\u2019s, 5302 Napa St. 21 and up.
