The La Jolla building home to Harry\u2019s Coffee Shop and an adjacent building have been sold for a combined price of nearly $9 million, but the landmark restaurant known for its folksy charm isn\u2019t going anywhere.
\n“The Harry\u2019s parcel did sell, however we have a long lease,” said Harry\u2019s owner John Rudolph, a former professional golfer who still plays high-level amateur events.
\nRudolph also owns Cass Street Bar and Grill at 4612 Cass St., which he bought a couple of years ago and is gradually working on making improvements.\u00a0
\nHarry\u2019s and the retail shop of Everett Stunz at 7545-7553 Girard Ave. will remain in place under the new owner of the 7,649 square-foot building, John F. Jaeger and Joanne S. Jaeger Revocable Trust and Christian M. Jaeger Irrevocable Trust.
