Would you like to jump with the San Diego Junior Lifeguards on Monday, July 8? Tickets are available for purchase online until Sunday, July 7 at 6 p.m. Space is limited to the first 80 people (18-plus) for each jump session (8 a.m. and noon). Pier jump proceeds benefit the\u00a0Prevent Drowning Foundation of San Diego’s\u00a0efforts to teach every child in San Diego County how to swim. Your $100 donation can save a life by teaching one child in the community how to swim. Jumping requirements:
\n– $100 minimum donation (each participant);
\n– No refunds and non transferable;
\n– No fins no jump;
\n– Must be 18 years or older;
\n– Must wear swim fins;
\n– Must attend safety lecture;
\n– Must be a strong ocean swimmer, the ocean swim back to the beach after your jump is between 500-1,000 yards;
\n– Waiver form required (provided at check in). Morning jumps:
\n8 a.m. check in;
\n8:45 a.m. safety lecture;
\n9:15-11:15 a.m. jumps. Afternoon jumps:
\nNoon check in;
\n12:45 p.m. safety lecture;
\n1:15-3:15 p.m. jumps.
