After two days of deliberations, a San Diego Superior&nbsp;Court jury found Moradi liable for Brees&#8217; claim that he sold the couple $15&nbsp;million in diamonds for far more than their actual value, according to CBS 8.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The purchases took place between 2012 and 2016. Moradi claimed to be&nbsp;an expert in acquiring investment-grade diamonds, but an independent&nbsp;appraiser told the couple in 2017 that the diamonds were worth $6.7&nbsp;million less than what they had paid.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>One of the diamond rings in question Moradi sold Brees and his wife for&nbsp;$8.1 million. It was actually worth only $3.75 million.
