The planters are part of the company\u2019s outreach community program, which teaches safety and self-reliance with tools to a generation that has less access to backyard building projects amid today&#8217;s surging technology.<br \/>\n&#8220;We welcome Home Depot to our school, school principal Donna Tripi sad. &#8220;Their staff provides a valuable service for students who learn the importance of ecology in the classroom and now have the opportunity to gain new skills that promote green thinking.&#8221;<br \/>\nStudents of Stephanie Kaplan\u2019s class donned orange aprons as they constructed the planters from kits and a stylized cutout in the shape of a flower.
