Paula Ferraco, a member of the Pacific Beach Community Garden, said she had, until recently, been searching for the resident who has been maintaining the cactus garden. She said Beautify PB and organizers of the eco-district want to support their efforts and help maintain the space and hopefully create more spaces like it in the community. In December, residents in Pacific Beach, Mission Beach and Mission Bay Park met with several\u00a0members of the American Institute of Architect\u2019s Sustainable Design Assessment Team, a team of nationally accredited professionals in urban\u00a0design, planning, landscape architecture, renewable energy, and traffic and transportation.
