The San Diego Padres have finalized their Opening Day 25-man roster, executive vice president\/general manager\u00a0A.J. Preller\u00a0announced March 28.
\nThe club has selected the contracts of right-handed pitcher\u00a0Adam Cimber\u00a0and catchers\u00a0A.J. Ellis\u00a0and\u00a0Raffy Lopez,\u00a0and optioned left-handed pitcher\u00a0Buddy Baumann, right-handed pitchers\u00a0Colten Brewer\u00a0and\u00a0Phil Maton, and outfielder\u00a0Travis Jankowski\u00a0to Triple-A El Paso.\u00a0
\nIn addition, the Padres have placed the following players on the 10-day disabled list: outfielder\u00a0Franchy Cordero\u00a0(left abductor strain), infielder\u00a0Allen C\u00f3rdoba\u00a0(concussion), right-handed pitchers\u00a0Dinelson Lamet (right elbow strain) and\u00a0Colin Rea\u00a0(right shoulder strain), and left-handed pitcher\u00a0Matt Strahm\u00a0(torn left patellar tendon).\u00a0
\nAll 10-day DL stints are retroactive to March 26.\u00a0Outfielder\u00a0Alex Dickerson\u00a0has also been placed on the 60-day DL (Tommy John surgery).
\nEarlier today, right-hander Rowan Wick cleared waivers and was outrighted to El Paso.
