Pacific Beach resident and University of California, San Diego faculty member Dr. Mark Kritchevsky was one of six outstanding faculty members honored April 1 for excellence in teaching, research, community service and visual and performing arts during the Chancellor\u2019s Associates Faculty Excellence Awards. Kritchevsky received the Excellence in Graduate Teaching award for his dedication to teaching medical students. He is widely considered to be a master teacher and is one of the most decorated teachers in UCSD\u2019s School of Medicine. \u00a0 Award candidates are nominated by their academic peers, with final selection by a committee comprising Chancellor\u2019s Associates donors.\u00a0 Kritchevsky has devoted nearly 30 years at UC San Diego to his passion of teaching medical students.
