Gordon Biersch&#8217;s Mission Valley site closed last summer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: AvenirNext-Regular; font-size: small;\">CraftWorks Holdings operates nearly 400 restaurants, brewpubs and entertainment venues in 40 states.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: AvenirNext-Regular; font-size: small;\">The Wallstreet Journal recently reported that CraftWorks Holdings Inc. was on the verge of bankruptcy, which likely led to the closure of Rock Bottom&#8217;s La Jolla location.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: AvenirNext-Regular; font-size: small;\">Reasons recently provided to Rock Bottom La Jolla employees by management for the brewpub closure included lack of sufficient revenue generation and lease issues.
