But it also hosts the occasional up-and-coming band like the San Francisco-based, two-man, guitar- and drums-based combo The Ferocious Few. Appearing at the club on Aug. 26, as with many bands in this format, blues is the base. But the duo also has a strong folk influence and manic rock \u2019n\u2019 roll edge that keep things from getting too close to the template. The Ferocious Few has been a regular in San Diego since its debut in 2007, even staging a rogue show outside the 2010 Comic-Con. This show at RT\u2019s Longboard is the optimal spot to see them.
