One of the best groups in town that plays its own tunes is the Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash, featuring frontman Mark Stuart, who appear at Caf\u00e9-Bar Europa on March 30, 9 p.m. The band\u2019s name, approved of by their namesake, gives an idea of their musical approach: hard-hitting, old-school-styled tunes, perfect for swing dancing. While the quintet does include several old favorites in their set list \u2014 from Elvis to Waylon Jennings \u2014 Stuart\u2019s tunes, like &#8220;Texas Sun&#8221; are all highlights of the show, slotting well alongside the songs of the band\u2019s musical influences.
