The Brigantine, Inc., operator of 12 restaurants in San Diego County, has announced it has reached an agreement to sell The Steakhouse at Azul La Jolla to Donovan’s Prime Steakhouse Restaurants. Azul is set to close immediately to prepare for the ownership transfer.
\nMike Morton, Brigantine president and CEO, said in a statement that “We wish to extend a heartfelt thanks to all of our guests and hardworking staff that have supported Azul over the past 15 years. Donovan’s will be a great addition,… and we wish them continued success at their new location.”
\nMorton added that the sale of Azul will allow his company to focus all its attention on its Brigantine and Miguel’s Cocina venues.
\nDonovan’s announced in July that it is leaving its venue at Westfield UTC after 15 years. With the transfer, its new location is 1250 Prospect St.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
