The closure will allow crews to prepare for the widening of the Genesee Avenue Bridge over I-5.<br \/>\nDuring the closure, motorists in both directions will be detoured to the Genesee Avenue off-ramp, across the intersection, and then to the on-ramp to re-enter I-5. The Genesee Avenue Interchange Project will replace the existing six-lane Genesee Avenue overpass with a 10-lane structure that will accommodate current and future traffic demands.
