He has owned the popular coffee stand located on the deck behind Kono\u2019s Cafe, 704 Garnet Ave., since 1999. &#8220;I have the best job with the best view,&#8221; Chase said. The most surprising thing about Chase is that he does not have a coffee maker at home. His caffeine routine consists of drinking a double espresso every morning after he has arrived at work. The shop only closes during heavy rains, which is not often.
