A man burst through the back door and robbed employees at a popular La Jolla restaurant the evening of May 9 as customers, unaware of the incident, sat and ate.
\nAccording to police, the gun-wielding man was seen casing area businesses before robbing Chedi Thai Bistro at 737 Pearl St. near Eads Avenue around 9 p.m. He ran from the scene with stolen cash and remains at large.
\nNobody was injured during the incident.
