Best known for his work with new wave hit makers Missing Persons, as well as Frank Zappa, he can also be heard on recordings by dozens of artists including The Knack, Jeff Beck and Duran Duran. For this event he will be performing what is billed as the largest-tuned drum and percussion set in the world, but even without that gimmick, the chance to see one of the music world\u2019s greats shouldn\u2019t be passed up.<br \/>\nTerry Bozzio: Wednesday, Oct. 26 at Dizzy\u2019s, 4275 Mission Bay Drive. 8 p.m. $25. www.dizzysjazz.com. If you\u2019d like to check out one of San Diego\u2019s most unique music venues, The Bahia Belle boat cruise, times running out \u2013 with no cruises in December \u2013 there are only a few more weeks to enjoy one of the best entertainment experiences in the area. On Oct. 21 music will be provided by the Country Rockin\u2019 Rebels, who recently released an excellent new disc, &#8220;Ride, Rebel Ride.&#8221; For this gig, the band will be performing a host of blues-related covers such as Pink Floyd\u2019s &#8220;Money&#8221; and the Doors &#8220;Roadhouse Blues,&#8221; perfect for dancing on the waters of Mission Bay.<br \/>\nCountry Rockin\u2019 Rebels: Friday Oct. 21 at the Bahia Resort, 998 West Mission Bay Drive. 9:30 p.m. 21 and up. $10. bahiabelle.com. Anyone feeling nostalgic for the 1990s will enjoy the band Saved by the \u201990s, performing at the 710 Beach Club on Oct. 21. A virtual musical jukebox, the band performs a bit of everything from two-hit wonders such as Eve 6 to still active combos such as Weezer, all geared to get people out on the dance floor. While there won\u2019t be any deep cuts in a show like this, Saved by the \u201990s delivers a fun night out. Saved by the \u201990s: Friday, Oct. 21 at the 710 Beach Club, 710 Garnet Ave. 9 p.m. 21 and up. www.710bc.com.<br \/>\nFans of the Rolling Stones will want to head to Tio Leo\u2019s on Oct. 29 for a show from Gary Roach\u2019s Stones Revue. With a passing resemblance to Mick Jagger, Roach does a great job of fronting the band, performing with his crew all the classics with an emphasis on the Rolling Stones late \u201960s \/ early \u201970s period. The show consists of nothing but crowd pleasers, with a set list full of classics such as &#8220;Gimme Shelter&#8221; and &#8220;Jumping Jack Flash.&#8221; If you\u2019re a devotee of the songs of Jagger and Richards, you\u2019re going love every second of this show.<br \/>\nGary Roach\u2019s Stones Revue: Saturday, Oct. 29. San Diego\u2019s burgeoning music scene has drawn musicians from all over the world, including such favorites as Dave Humphries (England), Colin Clyne (Scotland) and Santiago Orozco (Colombia) and more recently, Jonny Tarr, appearing at the Backyard Kitchen &#038; Tap on Nov. 2. A native of Wales, Tarr has a wonderful repertoire of originals, as well as a great selection of covers, all performed with a soulful edge. Metal fans won\u2019t want to miss a rare appearance from influential British rockers Diamondhead at Brick by Brick on Nov. 5. It\u2019s a terrific bill which includes Symbolic, The Bastard Saints and the Dolan Brotherhood, but there is nothing quite like the sonic onslaught of Diamond Head. Formed in 1976, the band is currently touring behind their self-titled new album, their first in eight years. However it\u2019s their early tracks such as &#8220;I Am Evil&#8221; and &#8220;The Prince,&#8221; as covered by superstars Metallica that have cemented the band\u2019s legendary status.
