The cinema\u2019s design preserves the building\u2019s original oak stage and exposed concrete proscenium, where the curtains once hung. Created to honor the past, as well as current, leading-edge design, the cinema also features a completely glass-enclosed caf\u00e9, bar and restaurant space that lends itself to an eclectic balance of reinvented use in a rehabilitated historic building.<br \/>\nThe restaurant will feature standout breakfast entr\u00e9e selections including an open-face sandwich with prosciutto and arugula and &#8220;killer&#8221; chilaquiles. Created by chef Matt Sramek, the lunch and dinner menus will focus on sharable plates, fresh salads and hearth oven-baked flatbreads with Mediterranean, Italian, French and Mexican influences; plus a wide and dynamic selection of European-influenced dishes that spotlight the finest offerings of both land and sea. The restaurant will also boast creative and intricate desserts by pastry chef Alejandra Pitashny.
