The following day,\u00a0Sunday, Dec. 2, marks Closing Day of the fall meet.<br \/>\nAdditional Closing Weekend highlights include exclusive access into the Del Mar Racetrack\u2019s Turf Club and weekly food and drink specials: Daybreak at Del Mar\u00a0\u2013 On\u00a0Saturday, Dec. 1,\u00a0the Clubhouse Terrace Restaurant will welcome early risers from 8 to 10 a.m. Fans can enjoy breakfast in the open-air restaurant and watch Thoroughbreds\u2019 morning workouts, while learning insights and behind-the-scenes details from racing broadcaster and horsewoman Michelle Yu. There is no charge for admission, but a $10 parking fee applies. Craft Beer Festival\u00a0\u2013 The popular Craft Beer Festival will take place on\u00a0Saturday, Dec. 1\u00a0from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Choose from over 100 local and international brews, including hard-to-find ales and ciders and favorites from the thriving local brewing scene. Local brewery reps will be in attendance to answer questions about their beers.\u00a0Then, put your arm muscles to the test in the Beer Stein Holding Contest, and grab a set of headphones for Del Mar&#8217;s first-ever silent disco dance party. Craft Beer Festival tickets are $22 and include racetrack admission, a wristband valid for five tastings and participation in the silent disco.\u00a0 Closing Day\u00a0\u2013 The Del Mar Fall Racing Festival officially ends on\u00a0Sunday, Dec. 2.\u00a0This will be fans\u2019 final opportunity to enjoy the races at the seaside track until next summer. Gates open at 11 a.m., with first post at 12:30 p.m. Taste of the Turf Club\u00a0\u2013\u00a0On\u00a0Sunday, Dec. 2, brunch lovers can enjoy the delectable menu of one of San Diego\u2019s most celebrated chefs, Brian Malarkey, at the exclusive Turf Club. Seats are $100 per person and include: Turf Club admission and table, choice of appetizer, entree, and dessert and bottomless mimosas, Del Marys or Chandon. Attendees must comply with the\u00a0Turf Club Dress Code. Tables are limited.
