Stone\u2019s World Bistro and Gardens at 2816 Historic Decatur Road in Liberty Station will host &#8220;Cookies on Tap,&#8221; along with the brewery\u2019s other locations in Escondido, East Village, and downtown San Diego.<br \/>\nThis is the fifth year Stone is participating in Cookies on Tap, a popular event for adult fans of Girl Scout Cookies.<br \/>\nStone will pair its Stone Borreo Gose with Sour Cherry \u2014 a limited release beer \u2014 with Lemon-Ups, a zesty new Girl Scout Cookie. Each Lemon-Ups is stamped with &#8220;I am a leader,&#8221; &#8220;I am a go-getter,&#8221; or another affirmation about the leadership qualities girls develop through Girl Scouting.<br \/>\nAdditional pairings include S\u2019mores with Stone IPA, Tagalongs with Stone Lifeblood, and Samoas with a double IPA called &#8220;Fear.Movie.Lions.&#8221;<br \/>\nStone and the other breweries partnering with Girl Scouts San Diego are hosting Cookies on Tap on a rotating basis. These official partners will have Cookies on Tap stickers available for customers.<br \/>\nPartner breweries purchase cookies from local troops, which use the proceeds to fund their activities, camp sessions, and community service projects. Each partner donates 20% of the price of its Cookies on Tap flights to Girl Scouts San Diego for local programs in the areas of STEM, outdoors, life skills, and entrepreneurship. Proceeds also support the financial assistance that keeps Girl Scouting available and affordable for all girls.<br \/>\n&#8220;As cookie entrepreneurs, Girl Scouts practice goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics,&#8221; said Girl Scouts San Diego CEO Carol Dedrich. &#8220;By supporting our innovative programs, Cookies on Tap partners help us prepare Girl Scouts for their future as the next generation of female leaders.&#8221; Some Cookies on Tap partners will give patrons an opportunity to write notes of support to accompany cookies donated for Operation Thin Mints. Founded by Girl Scouts San Diego in 2002, the local service project sends &#8220;a taste of home and a note to show we care&#8221; to military troops deployed around the globe and local veterans.
