We added new event highlights that upped the ante &#8211; the excitement and response from restaurant owners has been tremendous,&#8221; said Matt Kalla, president of the Peninsula Chamber of Commerce.<br \/>\n&#8220;Whether you are a seafood lover, want to satisfy your sweet tooth or enjoy food and beverage pairings, you will find what you&#8217;re looking for at the Taste of Point Loma.&#8221;<br \/>\nNew to this year\u2019s event will be food and beverage pairings. For an additional fee, participating restaurants will provide attendees with the option to purchase a drink that complements the restaurant\u2019s food sample. Another new feature this year will be the addition of dog-friendly restaurants.<br \/>\n&#8220;The Taste of Point Loma has been an excellent event for The Wine Pub to participate in over the years. It brings new customers to the area to see what a gem Point Loma is,&#8221; said Sandy Hanshaw, owner of The Wine Pub. &#8220;I\u2019m really excited to add the dog-friendly aspect of it along with the pairings, two things we love at The Wine Pub.&#8221; Shuttle services will be available to attendees throughout the night. In addition, a discounted ticket will be offered to anyone going by bike.
