Events will take place on the UC San<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><span>Diego campus, at<\/span><span>&nbsp;Balboa Park and in San Diego&#8217;s East Village.<\/span><span><br \/><\/span><span><br \/><\/span><span>Springfest&nbsp;includes 20 events over the course of seven days.&nbsp;The festival will begin with BlueRail, a relay performance&nbsp;event staged throughout the Conrad Prebys Music Center, featuring over 40&nbsp;improvisational musicians, dancers and visual artists, including international&nbsp;artists from Baja California.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span>The festival features two to three performances per&nbsp;day, ranging from&nbsp;solo recitals to Hermetic Art Party, a four-day &ldquo;art party and&nbsp;hide-away,&rdquo; to a&nbsp;concert of several of Stockhausen&#8217;s rarely performed spatial&nbsp;works and XX, a&nbsp;celebration of music by women.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span>On&nbsp;Sunday, April 14th, Springfest will close with a finale in the East Village in&nbsp;downtown San Diego hosted by Space4Art and Sandbox Venue. UC San&nbsp;Diego musicians,&nbsp;artists, and dancers will join forces with the San Diego-based creative&nbsp;community to present an evening of performance,&nbsp;exploration, socialization and&nbsp;fun.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span>All&nbsp;events are free and open to the public.
