WINNING WAYS OF MBHS BASKETBALL<\/b> Congratulations to the Mission Bay High School (MBHS) girls\u2019 basketball team. Over the holiday break, the Lady Bucs participated in two tournaments. One was in Arizona, where the team placed second overall. The other was in Oakland, where the team earned the champion title of the consultation bracket. Briteesha Solomon was named National Player of the week by ESPN. Congratulations, also, to the MBHS boys\u2019 basketball team. They are the champions of the National Surf and Slam Tournament after beating Newport High School 71-46. Gerald Albritton was named the MVP of the tournament.
