Must go: Empty bowls for T.A.C.O.<\/b> When it comes to fighting hunger, there are some folks making a difference in San Diego. Third Avenue Charitable Organization (T.A.C.O.) is working with Empty Bowls, an international program whose mission is to raise awareness and feed the hungry, to put on a fun and interesting event on May 7 from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. at La Jolla United Methodist Church, located at 6063 La Jolla Blvd. Guests will get to choose handmade pottery, all donated from local artisans, and fill it with delicious soup and bread from local restaurants. All proceeds go to T.A.C.O., which has been feeding the homeless and working poor for more than 35 years.
