Whether you favor the AFC or the NFC, the Chiefs or Forty-Niners, or are just an NFL fan, there are numerous places \u2014 and vibes \u2014 to select from this year in the Peninsula to catch the big game on Sunday, Feb. 2. Here are a few options: OCEAN BEACH Sunshine Company Saloon\u00a0<br \/>\nCelebrate each touchdown here at 5028 Newport Ave. with pickle backs and gummy bear shots at the largest bar on Newport Avenue.\u00a0<br \/>\nThe saloon has an upstairs patio to watch the sunset. There are four pool tables, two full bars and a Mexican restaurant adjacent to the bar for quick taco runs between commercials.\u00a0 Mother\u2019s Saloon<br \/>\nThere\u2019s not much more a football fan could ask for here at 2228 Bacon St. than 15 big-screen TVs, traditional and boneless wings, nacho supremes, Cajun beef bites and parmesan beer-battered fries, crinkle fries not to mention their extensive craft beers on tap.\u00a0<br \/>\nFor the Super Bowl, Mother\u2019s will offer $5 for six wings as well as $12 pitchers for Miller and Coors Light. Also on special will be $5 onion rings, chips, queso, and deep-fried egg rolls. BBQ House Bar and Grill<br \/>\nWhether you\u2019re ordering a sloppy Joe, barbecue chicken or a whole rack of ribs dinner, this bar and grill at 5025 Newport Ave. is the place to enjoy the ocean breeze right next to the pier while watching the game.\u00a0<br \/>\nThree large flat-screens at the bar plus various TVs around the eatery ensure everyone gets a front-row seat. Wonderland Ocean Pub\u00a0<br \/>\nThis beachside restaurant on 5083 Santa Monica Ave. has a surf \u2019n\u2019 turf-inspired menu that features fresh ceviche, Baja shrimp cocktail, and steamed mussels, accompanied by wines, cocktails and craft beers.\u00a0<br \/>\nThere are plenty of TVs scattered throughout the pub. There will also be a $6 special on 20-ounce Pacifico drafts on game day. The Harp<br \/>\nThis Irish pub at 4935 Newport Ave. will be offering food and drink specials throughout the day for the big game.\u00a0 POINT LOMA Harbor Town Pub<br \/>\nThe pub at 1125 Rosecrans St. is going all-out Super Bowl Sunday. For a $20 entry fee, guests will get two free drinks and six raffle tickets for prizes of at least $500. If the opening kick-off by the receiving team in either the first or second half results in a touchdown, the raffle prize goes up to $1,000. The food special will be $1 chicken wings. Catalina Lounge<br \/>\nFor Super Bowl Sunday the pub at 4204 Voltaire St. will be putting out free food and will have drink specials throughout the day. Paradise Lounge &#038; Grill\u00a0<br \/>\nThe eatery at 2732 Midway Drive on game day is offering a special on crab cakes and Kansas City barbecue, as well as having drink specials on domestic beers, and likely some specialty shots, throughout the day. Buffalo Wild Wings<br \/>\nTVs and framed sports jerseys line their walls at 3615 Midway Drive. Saucy wings will line the stomachs of those looking for a fun family atmosphere to watch the Super Bowl. There\u2019s a bar area and a main dining room with signature wing sauces. The fried pickles are also a favorite.\u00a0 Banzai Bar<br \/>\nThis popular pub at 3048 Midway Drive is pulling out all the stops on Feb. 2 describing its Super Bowl spread as &#8220;pretty spectacular.&#8221;<br \/>\nTheir Super Bowl super party will be from 3 to 9 p.m. For $50, guests can feast on a variety of all-you-can-eat appetizers and well drinks and call drafts.\u00a0<br \/>\nAnd one thing more. If the second half kick-off gets returned for a touchdown, Banzai will refund the guest\u2019s $50 entry fee. LIBERTY STATION Soda &#038; Swine\u00a0<br \/>\nThe eatery at 2750 Dewey Road, #104, will be open during game time from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. with specials on drinks, chicken wings, and other comfort foods. The restaurant has TVs for Super Bowl viewing but will close immediately following the game for a company party. Oggi\u2019s<br \/>\nThe restaurant at 2562 Laning Road will have specials on drinks and food on Super Bowl Sunday and will be tapping a new beer that day especially for the occasion. There will also be raffles during the game. Dirty Birds This outdoor bar at 2970 Truxtun Road welcomes both guests and their dogs. Dirty Birds has 24 rotating draft beer handles, 34 TVs both inside and outside, and serves award-winning chicken wings and hand-crafted gourmet pizzas to be enjoyed on game day.
