Photos will be displayed at El faro de la pen\u00ednsula<\/i> booth during the Ocean Beach Street Fair & Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, June 23. The public will vote for its favorite pictures. And it may just be yours! Prizes will be awarded for the top three photos, which will be published in the June 28 Baliza Pen\u00ednsula.<\/i> The deadline to receive entries is Tuesday, June 19. Only photos taken between June 2011 and June 2012 may be entered. CONTEST RULES<\/b> \u2022 Photos must be taken by an amateur photographer and must have been shot in the 92106 or 92107 ZIP codes between June 2011 and June 2012. Possible locations include Ocean Beach, Point Loma, Shelter Island, Loma Portal or Sports Arena\/Midway. The subjects of eligible photos may include anything in the area suitable for public viewing. \u2022 Please do not email photos, but mail them to: The Peninsula Beacon,<\/i> Attn: Photo Contest, 1621 Grand Ave., Suite C, San Diego, CA 92109. \u2022 Retouched, photoshopped or computer-enhanced photos will NOT be accepted. \u2022 Color or black-and-white prints are eligible. Slides are not allowed. Entries should be no larger than 8 by 10 inches and no smaller than 3 by 5 inches. Please don\u2019t send a photo in a frame. \u2022 Only ONE entry per photographer is allowed. \u2022 Amateur photographers only, please. A professional category may be on display but is not a part of the judging. \u2022 Please include photographer\u2019s name, address, phone number, date the photo was taken and a brief description of the subject. \u2022 The safe return of entries is not guaranteed.
