Although\u00a0nearly\u00a0every base spirit can lend\u00a0its flavor\u00a0to the seasonality of warm summer days and cool summer nights, today\u2019s recipes are all about the famed heritage spirit of the neighbors to our south: tequila.\u00a0The\u00a0three most-widely produced\u00a0classifications\u00a0of this amazing noble spirit\u00a0are well suited for cocktails that\u00a0encompass of the very nature of summertime. The following list of original recipes was compiled by\u00a0The\u00a0Blind Tiger Cocktail Co.\u00a0 <b>Manzanita\u2019s Revenge<\/b> Ingredients: 2 oz\u00a0blanco tequila 1\/4 cup crisp green apple 2 slices of fresh jalapeno 1 oz fresh\u00a0lime juice 3\/4\u00a0oz agave nectar \u00a0 Preparation: In a mixing glass, muddle the apple and jalapeno. Add all other ingredients, shake and strain over ice in a Collins glass. Garnish with apple slices and a whole jalapeno. \u00a0 <b>Mexican Standoff<\/b> Ingredients 2 oz. hibiscus-infused reposado tequila 1 oz tamarind agave reduction 3\/4\u00a0oz fresh lime juice Preparation: Add all ingredients to a mixing glass full of ice, shake and fine strain into a Collins glass full of ice. Garnish with a lime wheel and a luxardo cherry. For hibiscus tequila: Infuse\u00a0one cup of dehydrated hibiscus\u00a0in 750 ml of\u00a0reposado tequila for five days. For tamarind agave reduction: Reduce\u00a010 ounces of agave with\u00a0five ounces of water and\u00a0five ounces of fresh tamarind for\u00a020 minutes on low heat. Let stand for thirty minutes before straining. <b>Remember Me Mang!<\/b> Ingredients: 2 oz anejo tequila 3\/4 oz carpano Antica vermouth 1\/2 oz Cherry Heering 2 dashes of The Bitter Truth\u2019s Mole\u2019 Bitters mezcal rinse \u00a0 Preparation: Add all ingredients into mixing glass and fill with ice.
