With its new, state-of-the-art machine,\u00a0Bay City Brewing Co.\u00a0now offers crowlers \u2013 the latest way to enjoy its craft creations and special releases on the go.<br \/>\n&#8220;Up until recently, people could only indulge in Bay City Brewing in our tasting room, at a local bar or from a growler,&#8221; says Ben DuBois, co-owner of Bay City Brewing. &#8220;As a portable and environmentally-friendly alternative to traditional glass growlers, crowlers empower craft beer lovers to enjoy the many adventures San Diego has to offer without sacrificing the freshness of a locally made craft beer. Now, you can take the tasting room with you.&#8221;<br \/>\nAccording to DuBois, the addition of a crowler to its lineup of beer accessories marks a major milestone for the brewery whose beers are not yet available for sale in bottles or cans. The easy-to-use machine seals beer on tap inside a 32-ounce aluminum can, preventing any light or oxygen from disrupting the flavor. The crowler canning equipment marks the latest addition to Bay City Brewing\u2019s 6,300 square-foot space.<br \/>\nAs the fourth addition to the Bay City Brewing Co. hazy train,\u00a0Haze Against the Machine, uses a Conan yeast strain that produces a style of hazy beer known as a known as New England IPA. With a 6.6 percent alcohol by volume, this new brew blends lime and peach flavors with the citrus and tropical fruit flavors found in Galaxy hops.<br \/>\nKnown informally as the &#8220;I-saw-you-from-the-freeway&#8221; brewery, Bay City Brewing Co. has found its home off Hancock Street in an industrial nook of Point Loma.
