Sea Walls: Murals for Oceans is the first movement of its kind helping to save seas and water resources via public art and activism (ARTivism).<br \/>\n&#8220;This project is a labor of love for our team, artists, and community partners,&#8221; says Christopher Konecki, regional director, Sea Walls: Murals for Oceans. &#8220;Art can transcend cultural and linguistic boundaries; as \u2018artivists\u2019 we believe that using our talents to raise social and environmental awareness can inspire positive change and action.&#8221;<br \/>\nThe public may view the artists painting murals around the city between Sept. 8 and 12 in high profile locations such as The Observatory North Park, Wonderland Ocean Pub, La Bodega Gallery, and BJ\u2019s Rentals.<br \/>\nThe festival will culminate in a closing reception with the artists at La Bodega Gallery on 6 to 11 p.m. Sept. 14 with live painting, prizes and musical performances by local talents such as The Verigolds.
