San Diego PoetrySLAM is a poetry competition on the second Monday of every month starting at 8 p.m. at Queen Bee\u2019s Arts & Cultural Center, 3925 Ohio St. in North Park. Cost is $5. Poets read or recite original work. Performances are judged by selected audience members.<\/p>\n

The slam is open to anyone and the poems must be written by the performer. All participants should have three poems prepared.
