Join the\u00a0Hillcrest\u00a0History\u00a0Guild\u00a0and\u00a0Hillcrest\u00a0Town Council at the 7th Annual Community Potluck at the Joyce Beers Community Center on Tuesday, Dec. 9 beginning at 6:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

Come meet your neighbors and enjoy a community celebration. Turkey will be provided by our neighborhood partners UCSD Health and the fixin\u2019s are compliments of Scripps Health. Several community restaurateurs are pitching in: Bread and Cie, MO\u2019s Universe, Snooze and more. Bring a dish to share, a neighbor and your holiday spirit. Everyone is welcome!<\/p>\n

A speaker from San Diego\u2019s Save Our Heritage Organisation will give a presentation about one of San Diego s greatest philanthropists, George Marston, and the\u00a0history\u00a0of the Marston House. A\u00a0L.I.O.N. (Let’s Improve Our Neighborhood) Award will be presented to The Beach Builders for the\u00a0historical\u00a0remodels they did on two houses at the corner of Third and Brookes avenues.<\/p>\n

Assembly Speaker Toni Atkins, along with many other friends of\u00a0Hillcrest,\u00a0will be joining us.<\/p>\n
