Creepy Creeps and Low Volts headline Halloween show at the Casbah<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is hard to argue with Tim Lowman of Low Volts. \u201cWhy wait forever in bar lines for overpriced, watered-down drinks on Halloween, when you can do it right at the Casbah with down to earth, fun-loving people?\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Halloween celebrations in San Diego are plenty, but choosing can be a total crapshoot. Who wants to pay $60 for the pleasure of navigating a port-a-potty while dressed in full costume?<\/p>\n

Instead, Lowman invites music lovers to come out to the Casbah for a night of live music featuring Low Volts and the Creepy Creeps, Stephen Rey & The Sextrash, and Gary Shuffler\u2019s Cramps cover band, Cramp\u2019d.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople should come to this show because it\u2019s going to be the biggest, funnest, most kick-ass, rock-and-roll dance party in town for the least amount of money,\u201d Lowman said.<\/p>\n

He then outlined the rest of the evening, saying the night\u2019s closing band, The Creepy Creeps, is one of his favorites.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn the main stage, Stephen Rey & The Sextrash will get the party started with some stripped down rock \u2018n\u2019 roll,\u201d Lowman said. \u201cGary Shuffler has put together a Cramps cover band called The Cramp\u2019d, so this is a must see for any Cramps fans,\u00a0as they don\u2019t play on the regular.\u201d<\/p>\n

Usually flanked by wild go-go dancers, The Creepy Creeps are known for working crowds into a frenzy during their shows and are sure to pull out all the stops for Halloween.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey are always in different costumes when they play, so I’m looking forward to seeing what they come up with for the Halloween show,\u201d Lowman said.<\/p>\n

To keep the entertainment going all night, Lowman will be playing his patented one-man show in the back bar, between the shows on the main stage. He will also be getting into the Halloween spirit by offering to help with costumes.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe cool thing about the Casbah is having two rooms and a giant smoking patio, so there [are] different vibes all within one party,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019ll be doing professional face and body airbrushing all night when I\u2019m not playing, so you can put final touches on your costume or just have me zombie you out.\u201d<\/p>\n

Costumes are highly encouraged, if not outright required.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I love most about Halloween is seeing people\u2019s inner selves come out,\u201d Lowman said. \u201cSomething about Halloween just makes people lose all inhibitions and the freak flag just flies loud and proud,\u201d he said. \u201cHalloween needs to happen once a month.\u201d<\/p>\n
