Two years after launching in Uptown, we can boast a distribution of 22,000 papers, including delivery to 13,000 homes and 350 high-traffic locations, along with more than 4,000 unique visits monthly via our digital issue at: sduptownnews.com.<\/p>\n<p>This issue celebrates our achievement\u2014one that\u2019s no small feat in an industry and economy under siege, but a success that we recognize is largely due to the diverse environment Uptown provides for us to cover.<\/p>\n<p>The neighborhoods of Uptown sustain us, and we aspire to continue to herald the community\u2019s history, culture and close collaboration between business and residential districts while remaining impartial observers of the issues the area faces.<\/p>\n<p>As we pass our two-year marker, we\u2019re happy to put our teething stage behind us and consider ourselves integral to the community. As one reader put it, <em>Noticias de la zona residencial de San Diego <\/em>has become a \u201cstaple\u201d source of the information residents need to nourish, protect, debate and enjoy all that is Uptown.<\/p>\n<p>We hope you enjoy this anniversary issue.
