Alec Mapa and Dana Goldberg will headline \u201cStand Up for Equality,\u201d July 16 at 7:30 p.m. at the Birch North Park Theatre, 2891 University Ave., North Park.<\/p>\n

Nationally known for his roles in \u201cUgly Betty\u201d and \u201cDesperate Housewives,\u201d Mapa has toured the U.S. with the Human Rights Campaign and the Mathew Shepard foundation, earning him the unofficial title \u201cAmerica\u2019s Gaysian Sweetheart.\u201d <\/p>\n

Dana Goldberg<\/figcaption><\/figure>A headliner on LOGO, Olivia Cruises and the Dinah Shore Weekend, Goldberg combines humor with humanitarianism, raising $200,000 for the Human Rights Campaign in performances across the country. \u201cCurve\u201d magazine readers named her one of the top five \u201cFunniest Lesbians in the Country.\u201d<\/p>\n
